Trash Flower (2022)
post consumer plastic bags, chicken wire, spray paint.
4 1/2’ x 7’ x 1’
Trash Flower uses plastic bags, light, and chicken wire to explore household consumption, industrial waste, and the resilience of nature. The winding, top-heavy forms echo nonlinear growth and the passage of time, while black and pink spray paint evokes an industrial, grungy aesthetic. The work asks how we might coexist with our material environment and imagine a more conscious, regenerative future.
